• If my feet were shorter, I would be able to make more socks for myself -- that would be good. Although perhaps I would tip over more -- that would be bad.


• All things being equal, I would much rather drive a standard than an automatic transmission.


• Yumpin' Yimminee, it's been cold!  (That's not really a phrase I would use out loud.  Well, ok, sadly maybe.)


• My Great-grandma used to say that winter makes us hardy.  She was hardy.  
  
• With all the gray this time of year, I dyed some yarn to remind me of a bright summertime beach.  Although DH happily commented that they are also the classic Buffalo Sabres colors.
