Oh, the knitting!

Over the Easter weekend we drove to North Tonawanda to drop off the dog (Hi, Mom and Dad!) then to Pittsburg (Holy cow, that city is hilly!!  Pity the people learning to drive a standard there.) to visit the Children's Museum.  Then we drove to my sister's house (Hi, sister!) in Cortland, OH. A few days later we drove back home to Rochester with the follow-up stop in North Tonawanda to pick up the dog.  So I had about 8 hours to talk to my DH (Hi, DH!) and to knit and knit and knit.  It was lovely.  Here are some of the FOs and WIPs.  (For my non-knitting-jargon friends: FOs = finished objects and WIPs = works in progress)

Wine and Roses Mitts from Interweave Knits Winter 2006

Made with Knit Picks Palette 100% wool yarn.  Very nice yarn to work with.  (And Dear Sister - thank you for modeling -- very nice hands to work with.)

Here are the WIPs:

Can you see the shadows in the above shot?  That means it's sunny!!!  Perhaps it will even warm up soon but for now -- well usually we take our family Easter shot on my sister's porch but this year we were in her foyer because this was the scene in her backyard.  Pretty but enough already....
